Description: Interactive Video Art Installation (Independent)

Exhibition: Caged Bird Sings, St Pancras Crypt Gallery, September 2010

Artists: Will Tribble, Tom Haines

Role: Devised original concept, took photos with Tom Haines, helped with the non-coding-related bits of the motion tracking

Notes: We took a series of photos of an eye, and combined them with a piece of motion tracking software and a webcam to create a blinking eye that would follow the viewer around the room.

It was a fun excuse to experiment both with interactive video and installation video art. Given the chance, I’d love to do both again.
